Dakota is worked from tip to the lace edging. Garter stitch is blended with simple lace to create an asymmetrical triangle which wraps around the neck as a scarf. This shawl is perfect for knitters new to lace or shawl knitting. See our Knitting Tutorials for extra help.

Schoppel Zauberball (4ply; 75% Superwash Wool/25% Nylon; 400m/440yds per 100g) in 2400x 1 ball

In addition you will need 4mm (UK 8/US 6) needles, 80cm long circular needle recommended but straight needles can be used (not included).
